Allison and Christopher's Fourth of July Wedding in Winchester, Texas
I spent the fourth of July near La Grange in a little town (population: almost 40) called Winchester. The bride and groom were married in an old Lutheran church in a very traditional fashion. Allison and Christopher knew exactly how this day was to unfold and tradition was a part of it. Evidently Allison is the fourth generation in her family to be married in the church. After the ceremony, there was a reception down the street at the town hall. We finished the shoot by walking around the town's park near the railroad tracks. We also went sightseeing which included an ice cream parlor and assorted abandoned buildings that encapsulated a successful moment in the town's history. Here are some of my favorites. Allison and Christopher, congratulations!
